The Brewery District

New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

The Brewery District is a new master-planned urban community overlooking the Fraser River in New Westminster, Canada. Centrally located in the heart of the historic Sapperton neighborhood, the Brewery District comprises of offices (anchor tenants include Translink, the Transportation Authority for Greater Vancouver), four residential towers and a commercial retail village as conceptualized and planned by GRS Canada.  With direct linkage to the Royal Columbian Hospital and the Skytrain Millenium LRT line, the Brewery District will feature over 750 new apartment homes and a 200,000 sf lifestyle village to be developed over two phases.  Phase I, opened in November 2011, includes a Save-on-Foods, TD Canada Trust and Take Five Café as anchor retail tenants.  Phase II of retail development will be completed by 2015 in conjunction with the residential towers.
